Leftfield are probably best known for the music on the Guinness advert with the white horses raging through the surf (the advert was heavily manipulated and used as part of the finale to the live show).
Notting Hill Publishers was commissioned by Leftfield to create the video graphics for the Rhythm and Stealth tour. Matt Clarke had created the concept and stage design (the video screens were designed as floor to roof paper lantern pillars with interior lighting), and Notting Hill, with its army of freelancers, set about bringing it to life. Most of the Notting Hill crew were working simultaneously on the Nine Inch Nails tour in Los Angeles, and we worked solidly for over two months dividing our time between London and LA.
The graphics looked amazing, too good. When Afrika Bambaataa appeared on stage to sing the vocals on the track Afrika Shocks, no one noticed - so we had to edit out the video graphics for his appearance, and he rightly got a huge cheer at every gig from then on!
