The industrial rock band Ministry used the Steven Spielberg A.I. film set to independently shoot their promo for the track ‘What About Us?’. The arena for the bands performance within the context of the film, was designed as a coliseum of destruction with the robot androids being dispatched in varied and creative ways. The carnage included dousing an android in flammable liquid, setting it alight, firing it from a canon through an industrial fan which was spinning at full speed, disintegrating and spraying the band with burning debris. The band loved it. The same graphics produced for the movie were playing on the LED screens, with an abundance of aggressive double-strobe effects.
