2Ci were commissioned to produce a 30 minute branded looping video to be played for the month preceding the awards ceremony throughout Europe, in bars and clubs, as a subtle advertising PR build-up for the awards. The loop incorporated logo’s and branded material, including graphically manipulated TV advert campaigns from the main sponsors, with Mtv branding, all mixed with the video library graphics to create a 30 min storyline - the branding had to have equal air-time for each of the sponsors.
The graphic assets from the 30 min video were also turned into short video loops, plus up-loads for Virtual VJ, for live mixing with the video graphics library at the official Pre-Show and After-Show Parties. The Pre-Show party for 1500 guests was in the Barcelona’s Otto Zula club and the After-Party was in Barcelona’s Olympic stadium was for 5000 guests.
