2Ci motion graphics Ltd / Gareth Evans exclusive Digital Video and Graphics Library has been supplied for live VJ mixing all around the world over the years for numerous clients by three companies - Notting Hill Publishers Ltd (1997-2000), 2Ci sound to light Ltd (2000-2004), and under license to 2Ci events Ltd (2004-2005).
The library graphics have been seen at events around the world, from Las Vegas to Miami, Mexico City to Paris and in fact most of Europe including France, Bosnia, Spain, Denmark, Czech Republic, Hungary, Portugal, Austria, Poland, Holland, Germany, Italy and the Mediterranean Islands, plus Korea, China, Japan, South Africa, Australia etc etc and of course throughout the whole of the UK.
VJ’s mixed from VHS tapes in the early days, then 4 channel MPEG video servers computers and more recently with digital files downloaded to computers and DVDs. The live shows have also benefited from the real-time software ‘Dancer DNA’ developed at Notting Hill and ‘Virtual VJ’ developed at 2Ci sound to light (see ‘Interactive Multimedia’), plus live feeds from camera’s and text messaging. The graphics have been displayed on everything from huge outdoor LEDs, video walls, plasmas, smoke screens, water falls and fountains, buildings, hillsides and a variety of transparent and moulded screens - even a remote controlled flying screen. The clients have been either the brands sponsoring the events, the promoters, event organisers, the performing artists, DJs or the record labels.
